Please read the following guidelines carefully before submitting a blog post.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We welcome contributions by anyone with a sincere interest in Myanmar, e.g. scholars, students, people who worked and\/or lived in Myanmar, analysts etc. We especially also invite authors who haven\u2019t published their writings yet, to use this blog as a platform to share their ideas and insights.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Content<\/strong><br \/>\nYou are welcome to submit a post of any of the following formats: parts of your scholarly work, reports from Myanmar (e.g. from your fieldwork), portraits, reports on Myanmar related events, opinion pieces, essays, book reviews.<br \/>\nPlease indicate which category your post belongs to.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Language<\/strong><br \/>\nBlog posts can be written in German or English<\/p>\n<p><strong>Length<\/strong><br \/>\nA blog post should have a maximum length of 1500 words.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Formatting<\/strong><br \/>\nPlease submit a text document (preferably .doc file), double-spaced. Your post should have a title and a short teaser (50-100 words), to announce your blog post on the Myanmar-Institut e.V. website. In addition, please list some keywords for your post, which we should use as tags for the tag cloud of our website<br \/>\nAll citations and references should follow the current edition of the Chicago Manual of Style.<br \/>\nKeep the end notes as short as possible.<br \/>\nList important references at the end of your blog post.<br \/>\nAttach photos of reasonable size and quality (that can comfortably be viewed even on bigger computer screens) separately, but please indicate where they should be placed in your text.<\/p>\n<p>Add two sentences about yourself and a photograph.
